Application process
The graduate application includes both the institution’s application and the graduate program supplement. Visit the academic program’s website to learn about application deadlines and requirements, and graduate coordinator contact information. When you submit the application it is sent directly to the academic program for review and a recommendation. When a recommendation is made you will be contacted by the Graduate School via email with additional instructions.
As a vibrant and diverse university, NMSU welcomes applications from international students; however, please note that international students must apply for specific degree programs, and are not able to attend as Undeclared, non-degree-seeking, certificate, or initially as Interdisciplinary students.
International students must also meet English language requirements and should review the international applicants’ tab for specific information.
Please be aware that only Graduate School is authorized to offer admission to NMSU.
